Community rules
Community rules
Short version: this is a place for people who miss the same group. Write like the person reading it is a fan sitting next to you, and like a member might read it - because one day one might.
Treat people as people
- No insults, no name-calling, no pile-ons - toward other fans, toward members, or toward anyone else.
- No harassment: following someone across topics to argue with them, repeated unwanted replies, or organising others against a person.
- No hate speech or attacks based on nationality, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or appearance.
- Nothing telling anyone to hurt themselves. This is the one rule with no gradient: it is a permanent ban.
Respect the members
- No sexualised posts about members, including anything about their bodies framed as a compliment.
- No rumours about private life: relationships, families, health, finances, addresses, flight numbers, school or hospital names.
- No content taken from private accounts, from sasaeng sources, or from anyone following members in real life.
- Criticism of work - a song, a stage, a company decision - is welcome. Criticism of a person's body or worth is not.
Keep the archive honest
- Say where information came from. An unsourced claim about dates, charts or awards will be corrected or removed.
- Do not present rumours or fan theories as fact. Label them as what they are.
- Do not edit quotes or translations to change their meaning.
Other people's work
- Credit photographers and translators. Do not remove watermarks or crop out credit.
- Do not upload full songs, full performances or paid content.
- Take down anything a creator asks you to take down, without arguing about it first.
Keep it a community, not a feed
- No advertising, selling, referral links or fundraising without asking first.
- No spam, no repeated identical posts, no keyword stuffing in tags.
- One account per person. Do not come back on a second account after a ban.
- Any language is welcome. Please pick a category that matches the topic.
Reporting
Every topic and every comment has a report button. Reports go to a moderator with the content attached; the person who wrote it is not told who reported them.
You are not told whether a specific report led to action. That is deliberate: the alternative teaches people that reporting is a way to have things removed, and turns every decision into an argument between two fans.
What happens when a rule is broken
Usually in this order, and how far it goes depends on what happened and on what has happened before: the content is hidden or removed; a warning is recorded on the account and you are notified with the reason; part of the site is restricted; the account is suspended for a period; the account is banned.
Some things skip straight to the end: telling someone to hurt themselves, doxxing, sexual content involving minors, or coming back on a new account after a ban.
A warning that should not have been issued is withdrawn. It stops counting, and you are notified that it was withdrawn - a moderator's mistake should not be something you have to live with quietly.
